Speech and Language Pathologist Assisant

Alejandra is excited to join Tollgate Elementary as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA). She has experience working with children in both educational and outreach settings. She is passionate about supporting students in reaching their communication goals and strives to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for everyone. Outside of work she enjoys spending time outdoors, enjoying music, and crafting. She is looking forward to collaborating with staff, students and families this year!

Samantha Bandstra

Sam Bandstra is a School Social Worker in her second year with Aurora Public Schools. She is looking forward to working at Tollgate Elementary to continue to apply her passions for expeditionary learning as she used to be a camp counselor. She also has 5 years of experience in working with individuals with disabilities, therapy with creative arts, and trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy. In her free time, she practices self-care through running, drawing, and spending time with her loved ones.
